Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for Implementing technical support operations for new and current products to meet the motor's general design requirements in the framework of keeping the applied standards as well as the processes of analyzing and evaluating the performance of ( Motors product parts - Full motors product).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare motor technical support documents (product final credentials - product final specifications - engineering drawings - technical reports - time tables ... etc) of 1DR meeting received from the entity responsible for product designing to ensure or verify that all requirements are met according to required specifications.
  • Examine and support the preparation of technical and engineering specifications for motors as well as their components and components and raw materials to ensure the achievement of value engineering goals and control motor's assembly and testing processes.
  • Develop and update motor's detailed and compiled engineering drawings to meet the client's requirements according to specified specifications, and make sure that the motor/ part design is compatible with required specifications to make sure whether the design is compatible with its estimated cost and whether it met the required and defined specifications.
  • Participate in examining the design (prototype - engineering drawings - technical reports - timetables - etc ...) received from the entity responsible for motor designing to ensure that all requirements are met according to specifications and ensure that value engineering requirements are met.
  • Implement engineering changes being made to motor, parts, components, manufacturing-method, engineering drawings, technical reports and other documents.. necessary for the process of applying and implementing approved final ideas as well as controlling product's final specifications and supporting both value engineering and technological development.
  • Develop and update the motor tree to meet the requirements of specifications required for the product through both the assembly and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze and compare the components and raw materials - related inputs in terms of (cost - suppliers -... ) to make a decision regarding the use or dealing to meet the requirements of motor development.
  • Initiate, follow up and analyze the (Pilot Run) stage and verify the motor's compliance to the required specifications to meet the set and agreed technical specifications.
  • Follow up the implementation of the 1st lot stage (1st lot of mass production) and conduct the corrective actions as well as engineering modifications and changes required for the product, in case they are the entity responsible for or participating in design to meet the approved specifications.

Job Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in electrical power and machine engineering.
  •  0-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  •  Good knowledge in motor selection and optimization and electrical machine.
  •  Must be able to skillfully prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams.
  •  Self-starter with strong organization and resolution management skills.
  •  Strong understanding of technical concepts.
