Job Purpose

  • Responsible for executing the internal audit plan, analyzing risks, objectives, tasks, and control systems according to the audit plan, reviewing the audit results, and ensuring the implementation of audit procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in analyzing the risks of the company's activities with the aim of evaluating risks and controls.

  • Participate in identifying the highest risk tasks with the aim of including them in the annual audit plan.

  • Prepare the audit program with the aim of starting the audit process.

  • Implement the audit program, prepares working papers, and collects supporting evidence in order to perform and document the audit work performed and the audit results

  • Discuss initial review results with activities to confirm review results and agree on corrective actions and implementation date.

  • Prepare the draft audit report for presentation to the activity managers.

  • Participate in presenting the draft audit report to the activity managers for agreement on corrective actions and implementation date.

  • Prepare the final audit report for presentation to the internal audit activity manager

  • Ensure that corrective actions are implemented on the specified date with the aim of improving control procedures within the activity

  • Prepare and presents a draft report on the results of monitoring the implementation of corrective actions to activity managers with the aim of informing them of the results

  • Prepare the final follow-up results report with the aim of presenting it to the internal audit activity manager

  • Implement internal audit methodology with the aim of complying with international auditing standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce – Accounting (English Section preferred).

  • 6 to 10 years of professional experience in internal or external auditing.

  • Possession of relevant professional certifications such as ESAA, CIA, CPA, CISA, or IFRS is highly preferred

  • Solid understanding of international auditing standards and best practices.

  • Demonstrates high ethical standards and integrity in all professional dealings.

  • Proven ability to analyze data, assess risks, resolve issues, and recommend effective improvements.

  • Strong reporting and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions.

  • Proficient in executing audit programs and tools with sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis.

  • Experience using SAP is required.
