Job Purpose:
Responsible for monitoring compliance with project costs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in setting the budget and implementation plan of the project to work on complying with them.
- Organize the subcontractors’ quotations and review them through prior databases to determine their suitability.
- Negotiate with contractors to ensure that their quotations meet the contract documents.
- Issue appropriate documented purchase orders to meet the project’s needs.
- Prepare and update an integrated database of all required raw materials to support decision-making.
- Monitor the cash flows of the project and compares them with the target in the schedule to ensure compliance with the set plan.
- Monitor the project progress, the material consumption rates, the costs and variation orders as well as identify any potential risks with a view to avoiding them.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 0-4 years of experience in a relevant field .
- Strong communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Commercial and financial awareness experience.
- High analytical skills.
- Focused and organized results with the ability to plan and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail skills and accuracy.
- Project management skills.
- Good knowledge of evaluation methods.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
- Proficient with MS Office Programs.
